Super quiet!
I like that the screen is super bright. It is very quiet. The buttons are a closer together than I’d prefer. My sausage fingers hit more than one button at a time!

I have had this wonderful appliance for a few months. And within that interval, it has been used between 3 to 5 times a week, and I. LOVE. IT!! I can’t say that emphatically enough. What has prompted this enthusiasm? As a trained chef, (I’m a graduate of the same school as Emeril, although he was a couple of years ahead of me) new methods of cooking are pretty much variations on a well-known theme. Sous vide was in its infancy when I studied, barely a novelty for some innovative cutting-edgers. So sous vide and I didn’t cross paths meaningfully until much later. Having done it a few times in Garde manger, and having seen and sampled the stellar results, getting a reliable setup for my own kitchen finally became a goal.First stop was to learn as much as possible. I did a lot of reading up about sous vide in general, then focused in on various brands, and although dependability is the top consideration, all the bells and whistles held no allure for this grizzled kitchen veteran. I made a list, then zeroed in on a few, and when this one went on sale for an excellent price, I pulled the trigger. And I regret nothing. When I purchased it, I bought some accessories that personally, I would never do without. First, I bought a dedicated container, a 12 quart. It has a cover, as most of them do, to hold in the heat. It rests on a butcher block cart in the kitchen, always filled with clean water, and at the ready. In order to further ensure reliable temperature throughout the process, I got a neoprene "robe" for it that goes around the bottom and up the sides with an exact fit. And I did get an adjustable rack that can hold up to six bags without touching. Beyond that, I got a vacuum sealer, also on sale here. Since I already had a cast iron skillet for the finish sear, all systems were a go.The combination of all these things, while involving an initial cash outlay, create the highest probability of consistently perfect results. This particular sous vide is so precise. I have never seen it diverge from the selected temperature ever during cooking, not even by a single degree. It heats up fairly quickly, usually no more than 20 minutes.I have cooked countless steaks, boneless chicken breasts, bone-in and boneless chicken thighs, boneless loin pork chops, loin lamb chops, flounder fillets and salmon. Each and every one was cooked exactly to the specified degree of doneness. The textures are SUPERB, well beyond that of the equivalent cut cooked with direct heat. But beyond that, you can tenderize a tough cut of beef to be the texture of strip steak! I have learned through experimentation, that I can sous vide a bottom round for 18 hours at 131 degrees, and it will have the texture of a filet mignon, yet still be medium rare. (BUT 24 hours took it beyond tender, almost mushy. We did several different times as experiments, so thought I would pass that one along …)And no fear of a foodborne illness, because the sous vide has your back there, too. I have pasteurized eggs in it. You can find info on pasteurization times and temps on the web, or get a comprehensive book about sous vide for reference.Better still, it will bring back leftovers to their good-as-new condition. Meat is notoriously difficult to rewarm. Steaks gets overcooked, chicken gets dry, when reheated in the microwave. Not with sous vide! An hour at the temperature you used to cook it originally will bring it back to life. In fact, as I write this, I have two 1-1/2 pound top round steaks in the sous vide (8 hours at 131 degrees) and will refrigerate one of them unopened for reheating later this week, using that method.Salmon is a revelation. 125 degrees for 40 minutes yields perfect, buttery textured, moist fillets. Boneless chicken breasts at 144 degrees for 70 minutes and up to 3 hours, if necessary, gives an exquisitely tender, unbelievably juicy result. The only effort other than sous vide is bagging the meat, and a quick sear on both sides. Generally, I like to include a sprig or two on both sides of the bagged meat, of whatever fresh herbs you like, which then flavors the entire cut as it cooks. Rosemary, thyme and sage are my favorites. Dill on the salmon is wonderful. Sous vide invites you to get creative, so spread your wings and try a few things! As for this particular model of sous vide, it has delivered for us, each and every time. Accuracy is the name of the game for consistent results, and you will get it. The programming is extremely easy. Setup with the app was simple, but since all I do is set it, add the bag when preheated, and forget about it until the appropriate time, a few taps right on the sous vide, under 10 seconds, works just fine for me. I checked the temp obsessively my first time, and randomly my second and third. It has never shown any variation.A note about the care and feeding of your sous vide. My husband, a professional mechanical engineer, emphasized the necessity of getting it out of the water ASAP after the meal is cooked...

This is so simple to setup and control from the Inkbird app. It holds incredibly steady temps and keeps the water moving around the food for a consistent cook. Highly recommend this product and this brand.

The media could not be loaded. A bit bulkier than expected, but heats 12-qt container of water quickly.Great that it can be used with or without an app, and can set a delay time.Total Length: ~15.5”Metal Diameter: ~2 3/8”Metal Length: ~7 1/8”

Used this to reheat leftover brisket and was genuinely surprised by how well it held up. The juice retention was impressive — none of that dried-out, microwaved texture. Came out almost like it was fresh off the smoker. If you’ve ever ruined good BBQ trying to reheat it, this is the fix. Highly recommend.

I use a LOT of Inkbird’s products and EXCITED about their new Sous Vide that I just got! This unit is heavy-duty, with a large readout, and super convenient app for monitoring and adjusting settings without having to continually stand in the kitchen.

Bring restaurant-style precision cooking into the home with this 1100W Sous Vide Cooker, an immersion circulator designed to maintain a consistent water temperature for controlled, even cooking. It's an excellent tool for preparing steak, chicken, fish, vegetables, eggs, and other foods with repeatable results.
The LCD touchscreen and digital display make it easy to monitor and adjust cooking settings, while the 1100W heating system is designed to bring the water bath up to temperature efficiently. Once the desired temperature is reached, the circulator continuously regulates the water to help maintain the selected cooking environment.
Its IPX7 waterproof design allows the circulator to operate safely when properly positioned in a water bath, while the compact form factor makes it convenient to store between uses. Sous vide cooking also works particularly well alongside vacuum-sealed food bags, making this a useful addition to a modern home kitchen.
A fantastic gift for home chefs, foodies, steak lovers, cooking enthusiasts, and anyone interested in restaurant-style cooking techniques. Ideal for birthdays, Christmas, Father's Day, Mother's Day, housewarmings, or as a gift for someone building a better home kitchen.
