The smell is heaven!!! My son loves this and it makes the whole upstairs smell great. Smoke flows as expected into a river like as shown in pictures. Great value for the money. We use it just because in a bedroom but it can be used anywhere really. The ash does pile up but easily wiped.
It was a great design and does look like a waterfall. The insence isn't as fragrant as I hoped for but still smells nice. My only problem with it was the holes for the funnels and insence stick were drilled either a little crooked (Still work but the funnel does not sit flat in the holder), and the insence stick holder id drilled in the complete opposite direction of the holder so the ashes fall on the counter so I can't use it because of safety. Otherwise it is fun to watch.
I guess I forgot this came with all kinds of backflow incense and other items to use incense wise. I love that it has 2 sides where most of them only are pretty on one. This is 2 in one. The price is great for what you get. I think this would make a great gift. The size is about 7-8” tall.
Good looking holder with a nice amount of refill cones, but the smoke fall only worked the first time for about 3 min then just a normal holder for the next 20 min of burn. Price is not bad for the decor fact alone so 3 stars, would have more of smoke fall would work.
This was a Christmas gift for 2 people and they both seemed to really like it
The back flow works well; however, it does not hold a traditional stick as advertised. The hole where the stick hole is full of paint.
I want to give it 5 stars, but the hole where the incense sticks are supposed to go is too big so they won’t stand up.
Super cool!! Having both sides being functional is awesome!! It does take time and few cones to get the smoke to the bottom. (We were also out side at the time).Would definitely recommend!Fast shipping and delivery!
Got this as a replacement after my other broke (dropped). Love it and it came with a LOT of cones and stick incense.Do not have in an area with moving air. This will cause the smoke to not flow down as pictured. Come incense does not last long but it is beautiful in action and scent is typical of most incense (strong initially and fades after an hour or so).
The incense burner arrived today and is beautiful. Unfortunately none of the incense that was supposed to be included was in the box. Will update this review once we get some incense for it.
This backflow incense burner is great fun. It's amazing to watch smoke flow downhill, and the dual sided burner is like having two separate burners in one. Great fun to show to family and friends, and to just watch yourself. And the 120 backflow incense cones that come with it should last a long time, although they don't smell as good as regular incense cones. They have a little bit more burnt smell, but the visual is worth it.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love it!! It came with the cones and they all smelled phenomenal. There really wasn’t a single problem, aside from the cones not being locked in place when it arrived. Other than that, it’s a great product
Few issues with this guy. First of all the incense colors aren’t detailed. I can’t find info on the product description where the colors are labeled. 2nd of all the funnels that the cones sit on are not flush at all so the cone tips super easy. 3rd the sticks that were included burn and then get stuck in the base. I ended up breaking up the stick into the base on accident, the ash seemed to go into the base so it will fill up eventually. I think I’ll buy different sticks that don't burn all the way down to the end and I’ll have to buy new cones that have the scent labeled. Otherwise the forrest cliff scene on this is super cool with the smoke flow, very neat. Wish the cones were easier to place so they don’t tip and fall.

The color and design is very nice on the incense burner. The incense that I used is one from Walmart that has its own scent which is lavender but the ones that come with the package still smell good and provide a lot of smoke to fill up the burner and even overflow as shown in the video. I enjoyed the way the smoke flowed down like a water fall and it was very calming to watch. The build quality is very nice being made of ceramic and doesn’t get too hot with the use of incense. Overall I think it is worth the money to buy.
So I was debating on giving it 3 or 4 stars and I was leaning towards 3 because it is quite smaller than I imagined it being and the cones that it comes with don’t smell very good. But since it works as advertised I have to give it a 4.Cleaning is very easy as well, but the best part is just watching the smoke waterfall it is just so satisfying.Also if you order different cones make sure you buy backflow cones and not just regular ones like I did because the regular cones smoke just goes up.

I like the item overall it does what it says it would. I would invest in some better scented cones though it gave a Smokey scent so I put it out.
Personally, I like the look of this burner and it functions great. The only reason I didn't give this item 5 stars was because there is no indication weather in the box it a comes in or the bag the incense is already in what the fragrances are. If the incense had come in little separate bags to indicate what they would have been nice.
Cool to watch the smoke go downwards. You place a scone on each placement to burn. When you do that, both front and back will have a waterfall smoke effect. It comes with a big bag of scones too. I do wish they listed what each color scent was though. Also after burning, so clean it. It gets messy with ashes and I don't know why there is also some kind of liquid build up that happens to the metal inserts that the scone sits on. If you are not careful and don't clean it, the liquid freezes and blocks the airway. And if that happens, then no waterfall smoke effect.
My daughter showed me hers and I got hooked. Had never heard of a backflow incense burner. This backflow burner is 2 in one. Smoke moves on both sides. At the top are two metal cone holders that are removable. Needs cleaning after each burn. I light each cone with my hands and put in place. If they give me a problem I will use the tweezers. Give it enough time for the smoke to start moving down the burner. I have tried two different type of cones and I can't smell anything. It might be the result of the Covid I experienced some time ago. Warning!! Do not touch after it stops burning. Wait until it is cold. It is very hot. Nothing a child should be touching. Trash can catch fire if they are not cold when disposed of. Trust me I know. Once the cone is cold and removed there is a core of sorts left in the metal holder. Remove. Look at the other end and notice a clear covering over the hole. Use tweezers, pinched together to remove the film, and replace back into burner. Ready to use for the next time. I received with the burner, over 100 cones, some sticks and a tweezer and pad for it to sit on. We have enjoyed watching what takes place. A fun item. Buy it. You will enjoy it.
As the subject line says the piece is lovely and I was really happy to see the smoke actually cascade down the ramps. Sadly there must be really decent lighting and you must be relatively close to enjoy the sight. Also, as expected, if there's any breeze at all the smoke poofs away.The free inscense cones that come with it do leave a lot to be desired in the way of scent. Pretty much just smell like burning, so I am burning my thru those and will get higher quality ones once they run out
