Product Details
Material: glazed ceramic Pieces: 5 cups Cup diameter: 8.8 cm / 3.46 in Cup height: 5 cm / 1.97 in Glaze: kiln-change, hand finished Glazes included: crimson, turquoise, deep blue, amber, speckled white Packaging: lidded presentation box
Five cups, five glazes, and no two firings alike. Kiln-change glaze is unpredictable by nature — the crimson one pools differently from the turquoise, and the speckled white keeps whatever the heat gave it.
A tea set that arrives ready to give
- Five distinct glazes — crimson, turquoise, deep blue, amber and speckled white, each finished by hand.
- 8.8 cm across, 5 cm tall — the shallow bowl shape Kung Fu tea service is built around.
- Glazed ceramic — smooth at the lip, with enough weight in the hand to feel considered.
- Presentation box included — a lidded box with a fabric-wrapped scroll, so nothing needs wrapping.
- Pairs with a pot you own — sized for a gaiwan or a small teapot rather than replacing one.
For the person who has moved past mugs and started caring how the tea gets poured.
