This is the cutest! Just be patient when putting together. I have so many compliments on it! I am ordering a second one for the other side of my apt door.
Super cute, but oh boy, assembly was tricky. I was literally sweating and bleeding after I finished. I had to wiggle the pieces and apply a lot of strength to make the parts fit together, so one of the edges scratched me a bit. The last rear piece was such a challenge, but with patience I managed to assemble it. It came with additional hardware that I have no idea on how to use it. There are no instructions or pre-drilled holes. Oh well, for a small plant I might not need them. Anyway, my mom was super happy with her gift and for what I paid I think it looks pretty good. How long will it last? That's another story and we'll find out in time.
Really cute garden decor <3 Really great gift idea for those who have a schnauzer!
This is such a unique gift! Absolutely loved it. Great quality, easy to set up, & so adorable!
It was great! Just as pictured. A little on the small size for a planter though. But definitely great for any pug lover!
Easy to assemble and a hit as a gift filled with goodies! Recommend! Note, the edges are rough.
It's very cute but will only fit a very small plant. Assembly was fairly easy with just a few hiccups due to screws not being the right size. Mother in law was pleased with the gift.
Good fine for someone who has the dog
So cute! I don’t know how it would do as a planter but works well for storing stuff in beside your chair or by the door. Easy to put together and seems to be sturdy material.
This is cute. Definitely not super sturdy (small plant or two at most). It was more difficult then it should be to put together because the screws are so tiny and the screw driver they include is too long for the application (still not too bad though).
Beautifully adorable, sturdy, and quality dog planter but it's too small to hold a plant, so it's a decoration on the fireplace ledge that hides and holds the scissors to cut the dog's hair. Cute idea but not for me: A friend ordered one of these and bought a wood plank at a craft store to glue it shut after putting the dog's ashes in after the dog was cremated. Fair warning, putting it together is a two person job as it's a little difficult to snap the pieces in without the help of another person.
I bought this as a gift for my pug loving friend! As soon as she removed it from the gift bag, the giggling began. Many people asked where I found it and what other breeds they have, so it was hit among dog lovers. I put it together myself and it took about 10-15 minutes. I didn’t put a plant in it, so I can speak to how well it functions, but the piece itself was very light weight (thought it would be a bit heavier and sturdier to hold plants). I wouldn’t put this outside, maybe a covered porch, but nowhere that it will get exposed to the elements. I hope it holds up, but regardless, the birthday girl seemed to love it and sent me a photo of her real pug sitting next to it… what a riot!
I got two of these (westie and the schnauzer) for my mom who has both of those breeds. The planters are very cute and the value is great. The only issue I have is the quality of the actual planter pieces (not the cure dog face and tail ends) isn’t great. It felt as if the product was made of foam or very flimsy wood so I don’t think it would hold up well outdoors. Also, some of the holes don’t align correctly so assembly was a bit complicated. Overall it’s a great gift for someone to use inside, but I don’t see these lasting if you use it as an actual planter - more for fake plants or trinkets.
Got this as a gift for someone, had it shipped to me and assembled before gifting.Glad I did, because the instructions were kinda wrong as to which pieces go where. That said it's all of five pieces or so, you can figure it out yourself if you have functional eyeballs. It looks cute, just like the thumbnails, which is nice. Be wary that you can chip the wood easy if you are rough with it, and the parts fit VERY tightly without sanding so you have to apply a few whacks to get it all together. Also there is no varnish or lacquer on the wood, so consider putting some on if it's going to be outdoors.
This planter is super cute & looks just like the picture. I purchased it as a Christmas gift for my best friend. I purchased a Boston Terrier one for myself earlier this year & thought the dachsund would make the perfect gift for her. Since I had already purchased one I knew it was a bit difficult to put together. The directions aren’t super hard, but you need to push the interlocking pieces together and I found that a bit difficult on mine. It doesn’t take long just a bit of patience so you don’t just try to push them together & possibly break the interlocking pieces. Once it’s together it’s not super big. I actually use mine in the house as just a homage to my dog & she plans to do the same. If you do use it as a planter I would suggest lining the inside & keep the plants in their pots since dirt is going to fall out & so will the water when you water the plants. Overall it’s more decorative than useful as a planter, although it probably would work great for herbs. I still think it’s worth purchasing.
Cutest little schnauzer ever!! This is a gift for a relative that just lost her furbaby and I think she’ll love it. It’s a little bigger than I thought but not a problem. The only problem is that once it’s together (easy assembly) I think it might come apart if bumped hard or knocked over. You could put a little glue in the slots but then you can’t disassemble for storage. Other than that…..it’s adorable.
I love my Boston terrier planter. saw it advertised on Facebook for at least $10 more. of course - great price with free shipping on amazon. adorable and made well. the directions say to assemble put sides into the butt end first but then it was difficult to attach to face end because the face is 3D with the nose piece. So attach to face side first, then easier to put in the rear end because its flat on the table
I bought this as a gift for someone who loves plants and has a corgi. I customized the face to look like their blue merle corgi. It looked so lifelike their dog barked at it -- which may keep her out of the plants. :-) The pieces don't fit well when assembling and can break if forced. You have to be careful when assembling and use some glue to make sure it stays together. But overall, the completed piece is very cute and will hold two tiny pots (think succulents).
Really cute item, used as a gift. Had difficulty snapping the pieces together and ended up breaking a piece.
