Multifunctional Survival Hiking Pole

I got this walking stick for its heft and use as a possible deterrent to loose dogs, dogs that break leash and coyotes. It’s heavy enough when swung to hurt what would bite you. I also have noticed that dog owners who do not have control over their animals will give you a wide birth when they notice your walking stick. If they are on their phone that’s a toss up. I also got the streetwise taser pen that fits easily in my pocket should I need it. It crackles and approaching animals smell and hear it. Why all this? Well, because they’re not walking cats. Four stars only because it is possible lightening attractant especially in Florida where storms pop up and it costs too much to toss in the bushes and leg it home and hope it will still be there later for pick up.

Where do I start if you want to use this for a hiking stick FORGET IT way to heavy and the tools are very hard to access now for a defense cane it's the hammer of Thor I only used 1 tool so it wasn't to tall for me many places to put your own things the tip is worthless the tip that has a fire rod you will fall on your back side i received 3 rubber tip so if it gets wet np. We'll worth the money but beware it's heavy

It's machine cutting parts are precise and feels very solid. My only issue is its stock bottom leg rubber has no friction and can slide on surfaces other than sand. It's also a bit too long but can be adjusted by removing parts.

After assembling, it's very sturdy. Size otnt very adjustable. It's either too long or too short. Stability is definitely there. It's not as heavy as I thought. But it's not super light either.

Nice sturdy walking staff but the tip is not good on hard surfaces, it's dangerous because it slips easily. Tools are ok, kinda cheaply made.

The hiking stick has many nice features and tools included and is heavier than a normal walking stick, but to give it the stability to use with the tools I think it’s adequate in weight. I plan to use it on other trips that we take and I bought some of the accessories like the shovel..

This is excellent quality! Sturdy, solid and heavy. The tools are great for self defense or the wilderness. I bought a nonslip cane tip for walking. The tip it comes with can be slippery on some surfaces. Other than that 5+ stars!

I really like this hiking stick and got all the extra gizmos. The reason for 4 stars is that it is intentionally too short for the average person and way too short if you're tall. But "conveniently" they will sell you an extra piece to make it the right size! Some complained about the weight, it's a little heavy, but I'm out hiking for exercise and to see the beauty of nature, so it's not a problem. It's a great walking stick with a lot of cool accessories. I just think they should sell it the right size to begin with.

Easy to assemble. It is a little heavy but for certain uses out in the middle of nowhere, where things like to eat two legged creatures a nice heavy hiking staff may be a good thing. The one funny thing I noticed is that the name graphics on the section is upside down when it is put together. I have gone over this many times and don’t see any way to put this together so the name is right side up. But other then that it does feel well made.

The walking stick is wonderful it is a little heavy but it is way solid and each insert piece is 6.9 in long so you can adjust the height. The tools are hidden inside each of the sections and you simply have to remove the section flip the tool from one end to the other and you're ready to go. However the non-skid end skids on tile and slick surfaces. no big deal. I changed it. With five sections and my new tip it is exactly the right height for me to use as a cane bearing weight on the end of the T handle when I have shoes on. I am 6'0" tall.

This advantages of this stick depends on its use. It is very durable and versatile, but not very practical for a hiking stick since it weighs about 3 pounds without the tools attached. It makes a good club though to fend off a dog or other animal. Good for short hikes or walking the dog. I much prefer dual lightweight hiking poles for distance, unless I happen to get attacked by a wild animal.

So to start I like this walking stick build from the outside but it has a few flaws that make it less than 5 star for me.Biggest for me is the ferro rod, it is built as the bottom of the unit i.e the part that touches the ground and is made of hard plastic that has no traction at all. Second are the actual tools, all are made with a plastic base so are not very durable if used for their intended use. Third, the handle does not get the best contact with the rest of the stick when used in cane mode causing a small wiggle.

So I got this as a back up walking stick when I go hiking. It's okay for that I guess. It's really heavy and the end of it doesn't have good grip.I do LOVE this product though for home protection.It essentially acts like a war hammer with options to turn it into a spear, war pike or a double-sided glave.It's SUPER hefty and sturdy, so this thing will do some damage to whatever you hit and keep on trucking swing after swing. I keep it next to my bed in case anyone tries to sneak in!

I bought this because my physical therapist told me to get rid of my cane and buy a walking stick. I broke my pelvis and a few vertebrae. Now I need something to keep me upright when I walk with my new funny walk. This is an amazing walking pole.It has grips every six inches, so when I need to bend over, or get up from a seat, I can grab it at various heights. It is also rock solid, with no flex to it. It's great for going up and down inclines. I am so glad I bought this instead of one of the fiberglass ones.It does weigh more. I think it weighs about four pounds. Which is about twice what my cane weighed.I purchased two extensions, so it is pretty tall. I think the plain product without any extensions is a little too short. But even with two extensions it was only a hundred bucks and that is less than most of the better fiberglass poles.So if you are recovering from a serious injury, this is the walking pole you want. I didn't buy any of the cool accessories. I may regret that if I ever get stranded in the Yukon Territory. But I plan on not letting that happen.

Recovering fractured foot. The doctor said, "Walk outside...a lot!"This is great for now as it is sturdy and any extra weight on the opposing side is fine with me; however, it is heavy and is basically a giant hammer so I will not bring it inside as I have Saltillo tile. If it fell on these tiles, I'm quite sure it would shatter them.As for all the tools, I haven't had the chance to use them. I sold my FJ to get a Bronco which is MIA if you know that saga. I intend, though, to use this as a walking stick even when/if I can eventually walk without one. It will be great for camping.Also, I could take down an orc if I ever come across one.
