Why Gooseneck for Green Tea?

Green tea (especially high-grade Sencha or Gyokuro) is highly sensitive to water agitation and temperature. A standard wide-spout kettle creates a turbulent splash that can bruise leaves and release excess tannins, leading to bitterness.

The Gooseneck Spout provides a "gentle pour" that allows you to saturate the leaves evenly without disturbing the tea bed too aggressively. For those using the Gongfu style or office-side steeping, this precision ensures zero spills and a perfectly balanced cup every time.

Key Features for 2026 Tea Enthusiasts

  • 304 Food-Grade Stainless Steel: High-density, rust-proof construction that ensures no metallic "off-tastes" in your delicate green or white teas.
  • Integrated Thermometer: Most 2026 stovetop models feature a lid-mounted thermometer with a color-coded "Green Tea Zone"
  • Triple-Layer Encapsulated Base: A 2026 standard that "sandwiches" aluminum between stainless steel layers, making the kettle compatible with Gas, Electric, and Induction cooktops while preventing hot spots.
  • Ergonomic "Counter-Balance" Handle: Designed with a thumb-rest and heat-resistant silicone or wood to give you total control over the pour speed without wrist strain.
  • Vented Lid: Small precision holes allow steam to escape safely away from your hand while preventing a vacuum seal that could disrupt the pour.

Who is this teapot perfect for?

  • The Office Tea Ritual: Compact 600ml to 1L sizes are perfect for a desk-side hot plate, providing a "zen" brewing experience during work breaks.
  • Green & White Tea Lovers: Essential for those who need to hit specific sub-boiling temperatures to avoid bitterness.
  • Pour-Over Coffee Cross-Overs: If you enjoy both specialty coffee and tea, this is the one tool that masters both "The Bloom" and "The Steep."
  • Induction Cooktop Users: Modern 2026 stainless steel kettles are specifically optimized for the rapid heating cycles of induction surfaces.

Cute little teapot

Perfect pot for tea time. Had to buy a second one! Tea stays hot and handle stays cool. Holds about three cups of tea.

Smaller than expected

It’s a cute little pot, very nice but smaller than I’d expected (I put it next to my mouse on my mousepad in the attached photo for a visual comparison), it’s nice for one person to use to refill their tea cup.

Not it's original intended purpose but...

Perfect for my Over the Garden Wall cosplay! I'm sure it makes a fine regualr teapot too 😊

Tiny

Too tiny to fit on a burner. Hard to pour liquid from it as it "leaks". Wouldn't buy it again.

Good Teapot for the money

I used this teapot to make a suncatcher and found it to be sturdy while also lightweight. It appears to be made well, although I did not use it to actually brew tea. It’s very cute and decorative.

Smaller than you realize, but perfect for classroom

I bought these for a lesson activity for our young Sunday school class. They were a lot smaller than I expected, but they are actually perfect for our toddler class to play with.

Question...👇

Nice compact pot that keeps water for yerba mate 🧉 hot but...handle started SMOKING on stove 😰

Basic and serviceable

It's not insulated, it doesn't have any built-in infuser baskets, but by golly it *works.* Mine showed up a little grungy even in its slightly-damaged packaging, but it cleaned up nicely and doesn't seem to have any defects itself.Overall, just a no-frills, no-nonsense steel teapot. Get/make a cozy for it, find an infuser that'll fit (unless you prefer teabags -- in which case, you do you; there's some good ones out there), and you're good to go.

Mystery Solved!

Many reviewers have commented on similar teapots leaking from the spout. The teapot does not leak, but what does happen is condensation forms on the closed lid from the hot liquid. When you pour the tea, this condensation finds its way down the front of the teapot where you are pouring and it seems like a leak.Solution: Lift the lid briefly before pouring and the condensation will drain down inside the teapot - no more apparent 'leak'. (This has been bugging me for months and I finally figured it out today.)I use this teapot with a ceramic teacup ('Lxuwbd-Jianzhan Ceramic Teacup' set of four) and it is great - you can pour more or less each time to maintain exactly the temperature you want in the cup - the larger teapot keeps the tea warm for much longer than a regular teacup. (My Zen moment of the day.)
