Excellent quality. You can buy without fear. The thermometer also works perfectly.

It keeps water inside

The quality was good. The problem is the design of this product. The rim of this kettle is a groove that curves in, so it holds water and debris in the groove. Because of the design this kettle, water doesn’t pour out completely. If your water is hard water, you might get scales in the bottom. Those scales will get stuck in the groove on the top. The next time you pour water out again, those scales will get into water again into your coffee. I noticed this problem when I boiled plain water and poured it into a water jug. It’s a design problem. The groove on the top should be sealed or just need to get rid of it.

Not the same quality as formerly purchased barista warrior kettle.

My first Barista warrior kettle was fantastic. The gooseneck of this one is shorter and wider than the one I had. I was disappointed that it was not the same as I had purchased in the past. I was super excited to purchase from the same company because I loved my kettle but this new one is not similar in terms of the weld and design of the goose neck and looks more cheaply made. I am bummed but I think I need to return it. It’s simply not the same quality as when I first purchased.

This is a cost-effective product. I bought it to brew drip coffee by placing it on an induction stove. It heats up quickly, which is good.

I deliberately did not purchase an electric heating system, but I consider it a good decision.

The kettle is leaking. Total junk.

Poor packaging, the pot is scratched. The box barely survived

The teapot arrived in good condition and is very functional for preparing infusions like V60, providing the appropriate temperature and correct flow rate. The downside was the condition of the box, which arrived damaged. Luckily, the teapot arrived in good condition.

It looks like a good product. Unfortunately, the packaging was very light and the product arrived damaged.

It's fun because it has a thermometer. The handle is bendable and useful.

the market for kettles is horrible at this time.

Edit:I've raised my star rating from 2 stars to 4, as I haven't found better products on the market at this time, and the seller has responded to my concerns.Original:I was gifted this kettle, and to be honest it isn't what I would purchase. My old kettleHad a thick stumpy spout, poured quickly and whistled so I knew when it was ready. It had a white coating inside and out, and unfortunately after +8 years of use I noticed white chips in my drink, and found the inside of the kettle was chipping away. After that experience I am in search of something that I don't suspect will poison me.I used my old kettle at least twice a day. Once in the morning to heat water for my instant coffee, and then later for a cup or more of tea. This oneIs not what I want but I've learned to live with it for now...Pros:-When full, heats in about 8 minutes.-temp gaugeCons-It has a goose neck, thus doesn't pour quickly.-It doesn't have a whistle, and I had no idea when to take it off the stove. My old one seemed to take longer and I've left this one on too long, but I'm working with a timer now.-If you leave it on a bit too long, it will spit up water out it's goose neck spout, flooding the stove. This is dangerous.-This had a weird smell and taste the first few times I heated water in it. (even after boil cleaning it a few times). not sure if I got used to it or if the issue is gone.-There is suspicious discoloration on the inside after I've used it for a month. (See pictures)... I only used filtered city tap water, so I wouldn't expect it to cause an issue in stainless steel, especially after only so short a time.

Great kettle with 1 significant defect

This would be five stars but for a significant design “safety” defect: the lid handle (the thermometer) that you grasp to remove the lid is set only 1/4 to 1/2 inch from lid (see photo above on 1/4 inch grid). The lid attaches tightly (good in general). So if you grasp lid to pull off when kettle is hot you burn yourself. Kettle holds approximately a quart/liter, so I have found myself doing that a lot. The first time I did it I really burned myself.Otherwise, the kettle is great. It is attractive, seems well constructed, pours perfectly and heats quickly—although not as quickly as an electric kettle. The base of the kettle is small, so on my Wolf stovetop I use medium-high heat. I usually heat the water in my electric kettle and then pour into this kettle. (Not terribly efficient, but it’s quick and if I pour it into the cold kettle it cools it to off boiling pretty quickly so I don’t have to monitor it). But it works well the traditional way.I use a Clever, so it’s more forgiving than a pour over. But I really love the way this kettle pours.I was worried that thermometer might not last since you pull it with lid to remove and place it down when you fill. But so far so good. It threads onto lid with a hex nut that attaches underneath lid. The nut loosens occasionally but it’s easy to tighten with pliers.I was impressed with the customer service response when I e-mailed BW to suggest a different lid design (more clearance or a non-conductive barrier on lid handle). But when writing this review I noticed that someone else complained about same thing 18 months ago and they haven’t fixed design.

Value for the money.

I absolutely love this kettle. Does exceed my expectations. My coffee pour overs have stepped up !! It heats up super fast. I had a comment from a family member that said it looks really cook like a honey bee hive on my stove. Very lightweight and feels like its going to last. To think I have said all this and Iv only had this item for about 2 weeks.

Water spills out

They don’t tell you water comes out of the spout when boiling. So yeah heats nicely but it is like the kettle is peeing all over my stove. I feel silly I bought it and did not realized it did that; it is basic physics and heat pressure.

More to love:
