I got this for my roommate a year ago, and she still uses it! It’s sleek, and not like those other ugly weekly pill boxes.

I was struggling with taking my vitamins everyday. My naturopath wanted to retest my vitamin levels but first I had to get them in consistently. I researched options and bought this for the auto dispensing feature, and the smart phone app. I set it up in my kitchen counter and now my whole family helps me remember lol. I have it set for two doses/day. The alarm sounds on the device several times and then the tray where the medication gets dispensed will flash green. There have been mornings where I am not in the room until several hours after the alarm rings and as soon as I enter it, the flashing light reminds me! My kids will now even say mom it’s time for your vitamins! The app also will go off on my phone to remind me. I’m happy say it’s been 31 days with ZERO missed doses! The app will even track your dosing which will be very helpful for Dr appointments to show what was taken and when. I also liked that I could take a photo of the pill bottle when setting up my schedule. It comes with 2 keys so the device is locked and I also set up my fingerprint to open it. This would be awesome for seniors or someone that is needing to keep on top of another’s med schedule. Highly recommend!

After almost a month of testing this thing, I have some critiques.1. The battery on this thing does not last. I know a lot of people complain about the light staying on and draining the battery. For me this thing even with no lights flashing drained within 6 hours. So save yourself a headache and just leave it plugged in.2. After it dispensed the first set of pills for the first time, it didn't dispense my next dose. I then thought I had to keep the app open on my phone to keep it 'awake'. However this isn't the case, as long as I keep it plugged in it seems to dispense on time. The only thing I would recommend is to connect the app every once in a while so it keeps the time sync, it starts getting off only after a couple of weeks.3. There should be a way to tell it to go back in the app or something, in case you advanced it to far. Once you advance it to far, you are stuck. The only way around it once that happens is to start moving your pills around to try and fix the mistake. I've only ever had to do this when it died because I left it unplugged for a short time.Some notes for people looking at buying this.1. When advancing it manually, once you get to the pill slot you want, you close it and it will dispense that one.2. To open the drawer you press it in and it pops out. To close it you press it in and it clicks in place.3. Just leave it plugged in at all times and save yourself a headache.4. As long as it stays on, you don't have to keep the app open on your phone.5. There is no way someone who is older and in need of something like this would be able to actually operate this thing by themselves. This thing is not full proof.I'm still not sure if I would recommend this thing, its both great and frustrating. Its kind of a pain to fill, and to make sure its going to dispense the pills you want sometimes.
