I have POTS and take medication that makes me very prone to heat stroke. We went to Italy this summer (missed both heat waves- thank God!) and I was worried about the sun. We didn’t check bags so I needed a compact parasol and decided to get this one.It was PERFECT. I loved that it has its own carrying case and I had no problems opening or closing it as needed. It 100% made a HUGE difference while touring the Colosseum and then Roman Ruins which are ALL sun. If I hadn’t had this, I would not have been able to visit those places. The UV blockage means that I couldn’t feel the sun beating down on me like I do when I move used just a regular umbrella in the past.I have not used this for rain yet (we are in a drought) but I plan to keep it in my car since (again) it’s compact and has its own carrying case. Love it!
Cute and compact. Portable. Handle a bit short (but such is the portable design). It gives decent coverage however compact. The company Baodini includes a little notification in the umbrella of a 'lifetime replacement promise'-- which is honorable and speaks to good customer service.I bought this for sunshade on walks post a facial procedure. I got this because I could likely stuff it in an overalls pocket mid walk, if necessary. I ordered two different umbrellas, this and another of a different brand, and I'm torn a bit between the two. This one is flimsier but more portable. (Hmm. So the jury is still out on which I will go with.) The short handle feels a bit effortful in keeping umbrella raise. In saying all, this is a decent little umbrella. It does what it was designed to do. It's more appealing in real life even than in the ad. And, hey, lilac is a good color.
It arrived quickly and well taken care of. A miniature umbrella, lightweight and cute design. The downside is that I thought it would come with a ridiculous case, but it only came with a bag. Other than that, good item 👌🏻

Perfect umbrella for the Florida summer at theme parks where I spend hours outside in the hot hot sun and never have gotten a sunburn and it cools down if under it with a fan. It fits well in my loungefly backpack too
This was just what I needed for my recent trip to Europe. It was HOT, and the sun was extra STRONG. This umbrella is super lightweight, and effective. The one improvement they could make is having it openable via the click of a button (as opposed to using both hands). But I'm still giving it five stars.

This umbrella is perfect for the intended purpose, a small lightweight portable 'sun'brella.The downside is that it's not auto open/close, but it's worth it to have such a light umbrella when you have to hold it for a long time like a day trip, or need one-handed access like carrying heavy groceries, etc.Like most sunbrellas it's not sturdy in the wind.

A great travel umbrella. We bought the two pack and brought them to England. They held up really nice. Very small and compact. Lightweight and easy to store in a bag. For the price and size you’re not going to get all the features, this umbrella is exactly what you need.
I was genuinely surprised at how dark these were underneath. They're very small and compact, although I am a little worried they might not hold up to any breeze because the stem is *very* thin.
I love the size and quality of my new umbrella. I only wish it had a button to push for easily putting it up rather than manually having to. That would never stop me from buying another one.

fabric feels good and i love the color. i dislike the manual open/close, it's not easy to use or convenient. the small size is nice. I guess it takes up less space because it's not automatic. the mechanism to hold the umbrella open felt like it was gonna break if i used too much force, but you need to use force to click it into place. i will return it and order an automatic one.
Perfect size for travel the interior of the umbrella is blacked out so you actually achieve UV protection. The wrist strap is too small to actually fit your wrist and my umbrella wouldn’t stay all the way up it kept falling must be defective.
I love the size, since it is small and could fit in my purse or luggage very conveniently. The handle with the ball at the end keeps twisting and I would have to constantly tighten it back up.
Super light weight, very nice looking, excellent for sun protection. Doesn’t package up as small as I had hoped for travel, but light weight still makes it desirable for taking in carryon on flights.
It’s OK. It is UV and rainy weather protection however it’s heavy compared with ones I. Japan and in the wind it flipped inside-out and stopped closing correctly. I’m still able to use it and I like the storage container but I wish it was a light weight and durable as the one I got for my daughter in Japan.
It’s a nice umbrella that protects from the sun and random Florida rain showers but please be aware that it will get your bag searched each and every time you try to enter a Disney park. One of the security personnel, even suggested that I take it out of the case and hold it out and away from my body when I enter the next park and not even that worked. My bag was searched each time because something with the material (the case or the umbrella itself) continued to set off the security metal detector. I gave it four stars because it really came in handy when we needed it and it worked as intended. The UV blocking feature kept us from getting cooked waiting in line and umbrella itself kept us dry. Only removed the start because the searches were a bit annoying but if your park bag is neatly packed with organizer pouches it’s fast removing and putting things back!
We bought for a vacation where I knew it was going to rain. We sat outside for 30 min in a drizzle and it kept us dry. 2 umbrellas worked for 3 people.I do wish it had a push button open and close but not a deal breaker. It does seem a little fragile. If you get too aggressive trying to open or close it might break. Idk how it would stand up to wind. It’s small enough to fit in a small purse or fanny pack or back pocket, which was really what I was looking for.
The size of this umbrella is great for travel and it fits easily in a purse or tote bag. I also like that it comes with a case and offers sun protection in addition to rain coverage.Unfortunately, mine was very difficult to open the first few times I used it. It took more force than I expected, which was frustrating for such a compact travel umbrella. It also had a very strong chemical/plastic odor when I first took it out of the package. I had to leave it open outside to air out for a couple of days before the smell became tolerable.Once opened, it worked as intended, but the difficult opening mechanism and strong odor took away from the overall experience. It’s a decent travel umbrella, but there is room for improvement in quality control.
