My favorite tactical/hunting shirt

Well worth it over some of the bigger name brands! Emerson gear makes some of my favorite clothing! (Not a sponsored review, tho I’m open to offers! Hahaa)

Great Combat Shirt

I’ve been using this combat shirt for rucking, and overall I’m very impressed with the quality and value for the money. The sleeve Velcro is excellent, the stitching is near perfect, and the zipper feels solid and well-made. The sleeves and collar also fold and sit nicely, which is a small detail but makes a difference in comfort.I’m especially impressed with the DCU camo pattern. It’s my favorite camo and hard to find at a great value, so getting this level of quality at this price point was a pleasant surprise. The only downside I’ve noticed is that Emerson used more of a t-shirt style material instead of a mesh-like fabric found on some other combat shirts, which can increase heat. That said, the material does a great job with moisture wicking and holds up very well against vest rubbing during use.Overall, this is a well-made combat shirt with excellent durability and value, and I’d confidently recommend it.

Good quality, value for money. I ordered three in one size and they sent me one two sizes smaller, but it still fits me just a little tighter. We need to rearrange the Velcro on the wrists so they adjust properly.
the color is a little lighter than the image
Yes, I recommend them and will buy more.

A little disappointed, I have previously purchased this same product from this same store on several occasions and always been satisfied. This time I ordered the same size, same product as before, but received a lower quality product and a very different size. The fabric of the black part is now a very weak material different from before. And the size fits me much larger than on other occasions. Very very very disappointed, I will have to look for another supplier. I am attaching a photo of the previous product they sent and a photo of the new product.

Inaccurate Color

It wasn't as dark as it is in the pic for the mctp pattern, it was just more vibrant/saturated than I was hoping. I still give this 4 stars because it does feel really good for the summer, it allows a lot of mobility, the quality is really good, and it fits great.

Pleasantly Surprised

Full disclosure, this isn't my first set of Emersons so this may not be a completely "fresh look" to some people. I bought a pair of solid-black Emerson G3 pants over a decade ago - they're still going strong with no rips, tears, stains (surprisingly for a solid color), or broken seams. So far, this AOR2 set is doing just as well as my black ones. The colors are correct and they match my actual-issue AOR2 8-point utility cover; either my set is exactly how it should appear with no discolorations or imperfections from the factory, or my eyes just aren't good enough to tell the difference. Either way I now own multiple pieces of clothing from Emerson and have yet to be let down. Only time will tell if the AOR2 set holds its color as well as my black G3 pants do, but I thus far I have to say I've been pretty impressed with the quality of these airsoft/paintball clones. Are they quite as good as authentic CRYE uniforms? Probably not. But they're also not charging you $500 for a glorified UnderArmor sports shirt with camo sleeves and some velcro, so take that how you will. There are guys fighting in Ukraine right now using Emerson gear and they're holding up surprisingly well in actual life-or-death combat. One thing to keep in mind if it's of concern to your use-case scenario: This company is based out of China and they're clones, not actual issued military gear. That means these things will probably glow like a federal agent if you look at them through IR/NODs. Probably not an issue for 90% of the people buying clone gear, but if you're planning on wearing these to a night-time airsoft game against people who may have NODs, I would definitely test their IR signature before wearing them to your op otherwise you might be in for a nasty surprise.Attached is a photo of my Emerson shirt with my issued 8-point on top of it. Note that my phone's camera kinda sucks, the flash is on, and my 8-point is a little faded, so the difference in color is a bit exaggerated compared to how it looks to the actual human eye. But you get the idea. The Emerson's a lot closer than some of the other Chinese knockoffs I've seen.

great value brand combat top

Just like the combat tops you can get for service use, just remember that its cotton so it can rip the same as the real thing.
