Product Details
Extended length: 1.7 m Weight: 43 g Sections: 13, telescopic Blank: carbon fiber Power: 6-10 lb Case: handmade wooden box Finishes: green, yellow
Tenkara strips fly fishing back to a rod, a line and a fly. No reel, no drag, no backing — just the rod and whatever is holding at the head of the pool.
Built small on purpose
- 43 grams — light enough that a full day casting does not register in the wrist.
- Thirteen telescopic sections — collapses to pocket length and extends to 1.7m in one motion.
- Carbon fiber blank — rated 6 to 10lb, with the soft tip action that small-stream work needs.
- Handmade wooden case — a fitted box rather than a fabric sleeve, which is what turns this from equipment into a gift.
- Two finishes — green or yellow, both with dark wraps.
- Genuinely packable — it goes in a daypack alongside everything else rather than being the reason for a second bag.
For the person who fishes small water, or the one who keeps saying they would like to start.
