Low-profile German shell — the shallow rounded silhouette that sits close to the head instead of ballooning above it.
Rolled leather-look trim — a braided edge band runs the full circumference and finishes the rim cleanly.
Quick-release chin strap — a metal buckle with a red pull tab, one-handed on and off with gloves on.
Removable padded liner — a mesh-backed comfort pad that lifts out for washing rather than staying in and staying damp.
