Performance & VIVOSUN Quality: My husband originally purchased this VIVOSUN AeroStream for our indoor plants, and it has been a total game-changer for our grow tent atmosphere. The sturdiness of the unit is immediately apparent; it’s well-built and feels like professional-grade equipment rather than a standard household humidifier.Fit & Weight: Despite the large 5L capacity, the fit is perfect for a grow tent corner. It’s surprisingly manageable in terms of weight, making it easy to move around during tent deep-cleans, yet it’s stable enough that it won't tip over.Smart Features & Durability: The Wi-Fi integration and humidity probe are worth every penny. Being able to monitor the environment via the app is a huge relief. I was using a no name brand combo humidifier/dehumidifier combo that was advertised as being fully automatic (set the rh and forget it kinda thing) it was anything BUT user friendly... it wpuld either humidity or dehumidify but wouldnt auto switch between the 2 like it was suppose to... that unit was almost $200... waste of money... THIS THING... Holy hell is it awesome... I set the rh level and it automatically keeps it within 2% on either side... it's been a game changer for my indoor grows and seedlings !!! I can easily see current real time temps, RH% and VPD stats... absolutely recommend this product line... if you have the space to grow more go bigger... I only have a small 2x4 tent but it could be used for much bigger (I beleive its advertised for 250 sq ft dont quote me though)
This is a great product line. I prefer the smart devices and this was easy to setup and clean. I am using in a closet at the moment and it doesn't struggle and it's very responsive. However, I had issues with use in a 4 x 4 x 80 enclosed space. There were also many variables as to why this did not meet my initial expectations. Air movement, heat were probably the ugest factors. Again, that is probably more related to user error. I am quite sure the next model up would be perfect. H09?
I have a few other VIVOSUN products.. 10/10 on everything.. longevity and efficiency.. I have had the VS 1000 light, for a couple years.. I recently needed a humidifier.. and I got the 9 L (2.38 gallon) one.. the automation to the app is that what absolutely sold me on the Wi-Fi automation in general!! Not only was the humidity/VPD changeable from the app on my phone- I just decided to get the GrubHub and plug in everything!! (Right now that’s just a duct fan and one of my VS 1000 Viva suns) otherwise the current lights I’m running are not supported by the GrubHub.. maybe one day..,! In fact I bought a brand new 6 inch exhaust fan with the same smart Wi-Fi app capability… be cool to have the option changing my environment fWhile away from the tent .. loving this brand soooo much … slowly building up to my hole set up being Vivosun .. tent, environment, only thing next will be my main lights.. and then I will literally have every single thing controlled through the app!! For right now the lights that I have with timers are fine.. The only thing preventing me from giving this five stars is I feel they should only make the biggest model.. I believe that one holds 19 L. Still awesome… but I should’ve got the biggest one.( my dad’s a plumber so I grabbed one of his condensate pumps. And I have it run about every two or three hours pumping about a half gallon of water into the humidifier so I don’t have to constantly fill it manually) my dad has so many useful things being a plumber lol
Works great! I like how you can set it in any % and increments. Such as 55%, 56%, 58% and so on. Some only do increments of 5% but not this one! It keeps my 8x3.5 on target all the time. And has a nice sized water tank to fill and lasts much longer then my older smaller humidifier! Awesome buy to add to the Vivosun hub and all works together (Lights, inline exhaust fan, cirulater fans ect) set it and forget it! And has an option for a low water alert so you don't run it dry. Also has a clear strip in the front for a sight glass to see the amount remaining or for filling. This thing is great!!! And having the app allows way more options, and a log chart, with a sensor for accurate temps, humidity, and Vpd!! Game changer!!

Took me a while to get the app connected but that was user error. Seems to work good, though the humidity is showing a completely different reading than my other three gauges. So I’m not sure what’s what.
The best humidifier I've ever come across. Set it to whatever you need & walk away. It seems to keep it, almost always exactly at whatever it's set to. The app is nice as well. 5-stars for sure!! Thank you VIVOSUN!!
Hands down a really good humidifier works really great and never gives me problems I run it 24/7 and so far it’s been a beast more then happy with this purchase and it’s a really good price also I have this little guy in my 4x8
I love the Vivosun products. I have their large grow tent, AC unit, heater, lights and humidifier. Everything is controlled by the Vivosun app and controller module.This humidifier made a huge change in my plants and I could notice it within a couple of days. For my setup I usually have to fill it up once a week depending on the conditions in the tent. Currently I haven't had to fill it in two weeks
This puts out a lot of humidity. It’s very simple to clean and assemble. Easy to refill and has wheels so it’s easy to move around. There is no sound when running & it appears to be durable. I’m impressed with its effectiveness and with the hose accessories I’m able to reach all my plants.
Nice little humidifier. Does well in my 2’x2’x3’. Love that I can check in on things through the app. Notifications in app are also a nice bonus. Get alerts when anything goes out of the ranges you set. Over all I would recommend and would buy again.
I use this to humidify my frog tank. I wish I had the ability to set a high and low humidity. I have to set it to turn on at intervals and watch the log to make sure my tank stays within the desired parameters.Minus one star because it is really sensitive. If you bump it, it will sometimes say low water and shut off, even if the tank is full. What I have to do in that case is take the water tank off, dump the base, turn the base upside down and shake it, and then reassemble it in order for it to recognize it that it has water in it. Once I had to restore it back to factory settings to get it to work.I do love the app capability, so I can see the temperature and humidity from anywhere, and review the log to see how the mist affects the temperature in my tank.The humidifier looks very sleek, and I like the tank capacity and the low noise level. I just wish it was less temperamental when moving it about.
Works great, the large reservoir is ideal for a 4x8, 5x10, or 10x10 grow space. Make sure you only use distilled or reverse osmosis water or you'll damage the unit, the health of your plants, and potentially yourself. Best to refill by removing the top of the unit and adding water directly to the reservoir.
I got 4 of these and I need a 5th but tight right now. Anyhow the first one stopped woking so first I unplugged it to be safe then emptied the storage tank as well as the water in the bottom section of the unit. This comes with a brush I believe but just use something basic mold cleaner, I use white vinegar. I clean every one every cycle takes 5 min each. True distilled water is the way, leave that water from out ac condensate as the dehumidifier water for other things. Anyway it worked like a charm after cleaning, they all do! One last thing put your dehumidifier in a foil catering pain and punch a spall hole somewhere in the pan. Should it leak it can drip into something easy and then it can’t fill up so no shock hazard.. GFCI outlet should also be used. Anyway VIVOSUN 💪 I’ll get that 5th one soon but it’s gonna be the cool/warm mist on can’t wait!!
This humidifier was pretty easy to set up and get working. I have a Vivosun Grow Hub controller as well, so I integrated it into the recipes I created in the app. I've used it for a few months now on an indoor grow. By piping it into the grow tent, it can maintain the desired humidity within a couple of points. The only reason it's not five stars is that it only provides cool mist, not cool and warm. Overall, I'm satisfied, and I'll update the review if I encounter any reliability or build quality issues.
I used this in a 6x8 greenhouse for humidity and temperature monitoring. Initially, the humidity was all over the place, temp monitoring was with 4-5 degree's compared to other sensors. Contacted Vivosun and told to reset the external probe. I did that, the humidity was slightly better, but I felt that this was working way too hard to maintain 60% humidity, lowered to 55% with better results but not ideal. After 10 days I bought the H19 and found that it was able to maintain humidity with almost precision. As for temperature monitoring, I think may have been the external sensor on the H09. They are easy to set-up, wifi monitoring with the app. Ideally it is a good product, just undersized from my project.
This thing can crank out the vapor. Its winter time and the smaller humidifiers dont cut in my room, so I went big on this thing. Not using it in a growing capacity, just to get the humidity up in my room. Its works pretty darn well. The highest setting will drench the room in short order, but you onky get about 12 hours of runtime that way. I've found the lowest setting to actually be adequate, and it will run for about 3 days between refills!Only a few things keep it from 5 stars.. 1. Its cool mist only, not the worst thing, but you might want something blowing it around so the water doesnt drop out of the air immediately. 2. There's a secondary reservoir in the working section, that doesnt empty entirely when it claims its out of water, and that pretty much spills everytime you remove the top to refill it .you can refill it without removing the top, but unless you have a hose (or top it off with a gallon every so often) thats impractical. I do wish they included one more piece of piping to extend it outlet even higher than it already is. But thats a personal thing I wont hold against them.
