Product Details
Material: stainless steel handle, nylon mesh Extended length: 175 cm / 68.78 in Hoop diameter: 25 cm / 9.83 in Net depth: 20 cm / 7.86 in Grip: foam handle Assembly: none required
It collapses down to something that fits in a day pack and pulls out to nearly six feet, which is the difference between a child watching a butterfly and a child catching one.
What it does well
- Telescopes to 175 cm - long enough to reach over a flowerbed or into a rock pool without wading in.
- Collapses short - the handle nests down so it travels in a backpack rather than sticking out of one.
- Fine mesh - close enough to hold an insect without tangling its legs.
- Stainless steel shaft - it goes in salt water and comes back out again.
- Foam grip - stays comfortable in a small hand at full extension.
The kind of present that gets used the same afternoon it is opened.
